When Indonesia overwhelmed with negative issues of politics, economics, even a religious issue, an event which launched the program 'The Model' is like bringing a drop of dew for the country. 'The Model' is an awards program in the health field.
These awards aim to seek and give awards to individuals who have dedicated, selfless public health, has a soul exemplary and inspiring in the field of health care for masyatakat.
"Searching for 'The Model' is dedicated to people who are not known, but they are highly dedicated to the community," said Imam B. Prasodjo, Ph.D, Chairman of the Jury The Example which met at the Hotel Four Season, February 10, 2011.
Search 'The Model' will be judged by five judges of the Imam B. Prasadjo, Ph.D., sociologist and activist organizations community empowerment, Dr.. dr. Fachmi Idris, M, Kes., Public health experts, dr. Joserizal Journalists, Sp.OT., health professionals and volunteers, Najwa Shihab, journalist and TV presenter, and Muhammaf Farhan, the radio announcer.
To be able to become 'The Model', there are several criteria that must be met. CORE (commitment, obstacle, role, effect) is the core criterion of the model. The model must have a high commitment to the health sector, capable of overcoming various obstacles, dedicated, and a positive impact on society.
In addition, the example is the citizens, of both medical and non medical field, has activities in the fields of health, rather than supernatural or alternative treatments.
Will be sought six 'The Model', and the winner will get a prize of Rp50 million. Also, it will be selected people who have the willingness to assist the publication of 'The Model' in program 'News Coverage'.
