While the signs indicating a severe dehydration is severe thirst, very sleepy, confused, do not sweat, do not remove or small amounts of urine, sunken eyes, chills, dry skin, loss of elasticity, low blood pressure, rapid pulse, heat and decreased consciousness .

In fact, says Saptawati, a recent study in America and France showed that men who are dehydrated 1.5% alone was causing interference with employment levels of cognitive and mood.

"Not only in men, loss of body fluids 1.3% in women are also capable of causing interference with the employment level of cognitive and mood," said Saptawati who cite research Lawrence E Armstrong, Ph.D., and Harris R Lieberman, Ph.D.

Furthermore, Saptawati explain when hydrated for up to two percent, then it could have an impact on memory loss, loss of focus the mind, the difficulty of counting, reading, and sorting work. Plus it will feel the heart beat faster, causing a sense of tiredness.

And if someone is having less fluid as much as four percent, it can reduce the physical ability by 25 percent. Even if the body fluid is reduced by seven percent, the result is quite fatal, that is able to pass out.
